MOUNT ATHOS CRUISE
On Mount Athos (the 3rd peninsula of Halkidiki region), the only orthodox monastic republic in the world, are 20 monasteries. Some monasteries are built on the top of the mountain, others near to the sea. Our cruise starts from Ormos Panagias, sailing along the coast of the Holy Mountain. The eight monasteries build on the western side can be seen from the boat at 500 m distance. A guide will explain in several languages the history and the rules of the monasteries. We will stop for 1.30 hour in Ouranoupolis, for lunch or shopping. A nice program with traditional dances and music will take place on the main deck of the boat, on our way back.
BLUE LAGOON CRUISE
The perfect day for sunbathing, swimming or enjoying the fabulous view of the Agion Oros Gulf. Our cruise begins in Ormos Panagias, with first stop on Drenia islands, where you can enjoy the beach, swim and the lunch at a taverna. Our next stop will be on Ammouliani island, for a coffee or a walk in the capital of the island with the same name. On our way back we’ll have the last stop in a beautiful golf, in front of Lagonisti Beach, where you can swim from the boat directly in to the crystal blue water.
TORONEOS CRUISE
A perfect relaxed and fun day spend in Toroneos Gulf, between Kassandra and Sithonia peninsula. We will start our cruise from Pefkohori and have the first stop on the beautiful natural Toroni beach, for swimming and sunbathing. After the lunch on the boat, we’ll start for Neos Marmaras, the largest village on Sithonia. Here you can enjoy a local home made ice cream or shopping of traditional products. The program ends with swimming in the blue waters of Toroneos next to the small island of Kelifos, or Turtle Island.
WATERLAND
Build on 150 ooo square meters in a luxurious vegetation, the aquatic park offer a variety of slides, swimming pools and hydro massage facilities, restaurants and coffee shops. Children and adults can spend here an unforgettable day.
GREEK NIGHT
A night with Greek traditional music and dances is dedicated to those who desire to know the local customs. A variety of Greek courses and drinks will be offered. Prepare yourself to learn “syrtaki” dance!
SCUBA DIVING
Here is your chance to dive in and discover the underwater world of the Aegean Sea. A PADI professional will explain the techniques of diving at 5-7 m depth, how to use the diving equipment and then accompany you step by step during this fantastic experience!
METEORA
The hanging monasteries of Meteora, one of the finest monuments in the world are unique and beautiful. Build between the XII and XIII century on the top of the high rocks, the monasteries have inestimable value. The hermits built there 24 monasteries, looking for silence and peace, but only 6 of them survived till today. Our program includes the visit of 2 monasteries, the visit of an icon workshop where specialists will present the signification of different icons or symbols and the technique of painting. The lunch break will take place in a restaurant near Kalambaka, the town at the foothills of the famous rocks.
THESSALONIKI
Thessaloniki is the capital of Macedonia and the second city as importance in Greece, also an economic and cultural center in Balkans. The city was build by Kasandros to honor his wife, named Thessaloniki, the sister of Alexander the Great. The tour includes the visit of Kastra- the ruins of the old citadel, the visit of Agios Dimitrios church, with the relics of the Saint and a city center panoramic tour by bus. Next you will have several free hours to discover the monuments from the Roman and Byzantine period, the great bazaar near the Aristotle Square, the promenade by the sea side and the White Tower -the symbol of the city.
OLYMPUS & PALEOS PANTELEIMONAS
You have the opportunity to closely admire the famous Olympus Mountain, the seat of gods and throne of Zeus. The program begins with the visit of Monastery of Ephraim the Syrian and the relics of the Saint. This is an impressive nunnery, the only shrine in Greece dedicated to the Saint, build at the border of Olympus and Pieria mountains, near the village of Kontariotissa. Our next stop will be in Litochoro, the small town at the foothills of Olympus. Here you can enjoy a walk in the center or a beautiful hike along the Enipeas Canyon, to admire a natural waterfall. Later on we’ll have our lunch stop in the picturesque village of Paleos Panteleimonas, build on the slopes of Olympus mountain, with its own traditional old architecture.
